The appointment of this group has been an overwhelming success, with all the hassles taken away from the club directly. Vince and the City Fever band were fabulous, getting most of our family and friends onto the dance floor.  I got many complements about the great music that got the party rocking. The dancers were such a great surprise to guests, adding a special sparkle to the evening.

We had the City Fever band, from Entourage, entertain us at the recent Skal National Assembly Gala Dinner, ACT

The event brings tourism executives from all over the country together to discuss what we are doing as a group to continue the support of Skal International, and the tourism industry in Australia. The Gala dinner on the Saturday night is a chance for all attendees to meet with colleagues in a more social setting, and kick up their heels. It’s also a chance for the host club to put on a show that will remain in the minds of all the attendees.

City Fever Band did not disappoint. Arriving early to ensure they were well set up and starting early to get the mood of the room ready to party from the beginning. The songs played suited the broad audience, with members ranging from their 20’s, to their 90’s. The interaction with the guests was on point, with enough fun, but not so much that other members became disengaged. The band stayed late, and interacted with those members who had yet to go home. The members were delighted that they took the time to engage, and I believe there were some conversations about potential future business.

We would not hesitate to bring City Fever Band back for events both at Mercure Canberra, or for the Skal International Canberra Club.
